Hi there i found this site while reading Mike's website and thought 'hey i like the look of this'...so here i am ;D some of you will know me from other forums but for those that don't,here's a bit about myself - My family and i own 5.7 hectares of flat land 60kms inland from the coast so it tends to be some what of a continental climate because our valley is surrounded by mountain ranges,it can be a real challenge to grow frost tender plants though but a bonus in other ways as we don't get a lot of fungus problems . Fortunately we are very lucky to have an abundant supply of water only a few meters under our feet, the area is made up river out wash shingle so water flows as little as a meter down during a wet winter and 5 meters at the driest part of summer,so watering is never a problem, just have to pump it. Apart from been a heirloom seed grower for www.koanga.org.nz/shop i'm also a owner and director of a company that has redesigned the old style hand sheep shearing shears - i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp247/Medburygardens/Watson%20Shears/Shears_in_red_case-1-1.jpg these are due to be released on the market within the next three months
